Chapel Hills Preschool

Creating Christ-centered learning experiences for children.

Sundays: 10:45 a.m.

The purpose of Chapel Hills Preschool is to provide Biblically-based, age-appropriate education for pre-schoolers through a commitment to proclaim Christ to children and families.

Our goal at Chapel Hills Preschool is to prepare your child to successfully enter into the primary school system.

We focus on three areas that we call “the Pre-3”:

Academic Readiness
We teach academic skills and concepts to prepare your child for kindergarten.

Emotional Maturity
We seek to develop emotional maturity in children and work with you to determine when your child is emotionally ready to enter primary school.

Character Development
Each month we work with your child on a Biblically-based character trait:

  • Friendship
  • Courage
  • Determination
  • Dependable
  • Responsibility
  • Honesty
  • Team Work
  • Respect
  • Imagination

God’s Word
The Bible is taught in our classrooms daily as well as in our family devotions.

It is our aim to provide solid academic teaching beside our biblical character development.

We offer practical tools and advice to help parents grow alongside their preschooler.

Caring for others
We provide missions activities to help your child develop a generous and others-focused outlook.

The Road @ Chapel Hills is here for the parents of preschoolers who want their families to grow together in their faith. We pour our love into you and your kids the same at church as we do at preschool.

Preschool Classes
Open to children 2-4 years old. Children will be placed in classes based on their age on October 1 of the current school year.

Pre-K Classes
Open to children who are at least four years old by October 1 of the current school year. Children may attend Pre-K for more than one year if the parents choose to do so.

We offer a 2 day or 3 day option:
The 2 day option meets on Monday and Wednesday.
The 3 day option meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

All classes meet 9 AM – 1 PM and follow the District 20 Elementary school calendar.

Children experience age appropriate Bible stories, singing, art, and supervised free play on an outside playground or an inside play area. Class sizes are limited to provide your child with a lightly structured environment with talented, caring teachers.

Anita Madole (Director)
I have worked with children almost my entire life and have been blessed to be at Chapel Hills Preschool for 10 years! I taught in the 3’s and the Pre-K for my first two years, then have been the Director for the last eight years. I love working with families and kids, and watching those kids learn and grow academically and spiritually! I’ve been married for 21 years to my wonderful husband and we have 2 daughters who are 13 and 16 years old. We also have 2 dogs, one who is our personal pet and another we are raising for a service dog organization. I hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management, and a Colorado Large Center Director’s Certification.

Judy Gunn (Office Manager)
I started at Chapel Hills Preschool eight years ago in the Toddler class, and have loved both my classroom and office positions at Chapel Hills Church (before becoming The Road @ Chapel Hills)! I’ve been married for 45 years to a great husband. We have 5 terrific children, 4 boys and 1 girl, and currently are enjoying 11 bright and beautiful grandchildren ranging in age from 17 years to newborn. All of our kids live out of state, so we all get together for a giant family campout every couple of years, which is SO FUN! My husband and I live out east in Peyton with a big ol‘ dog and a small orchard on a couple of acres of prairie.

Liz Myles (Two’s Class)
I am from South Carolina but I have come to love Colorado. I began at Chapel Hills in 2010. My favorite class is the Toddler room but I also enjoy the 2’s and 3’s. I became CO State qualified as a Lead teacher in 2013. I earned my B.A. degree in History and Communications from Winthrop College, Rock Hill, SC. I have 2 boys and my husband works for Lockheed Martin. Some of my hobbies include: cooking, historical genealogy (historical societies such as DAR, Colonial Dames, and the Magna Charta), health and fitness, reading, advocating for juvenile diabetes, my children’s activities and training our dog.

Reagan Dahl (Three’s Class)
I have been at Chapel Hills Preschool for two years as a substitute and assisted in Toddler through Pre-K classrooms on a regular basis. I am working on becoming certified as an Early Childhood Teacher.
I moved to Colorado when I was 12 and graduated from Air Academy High School. My husband and I have been married for 20 years; we have a 13 year old daughter and 7 year old son whom were both born in China. Our newest family member is a 2 year old greyhound named Hardy. We enjoy camping, playing board games and hockey (both of my kids play). Watching children grow and learn is one of my favorite things to do!

Shana Bauman (Three’s Class)
I have been blessed by the opportunity to teach here at Chapel Hills Preschool for four years. I am a Colorado native and grew up loving all things “ARTSY”. As a young adult, I was a professional dancer with the Colorado Ballet. After numerous surgeries, I decided to choose a less strenuous career. I received my bachelor’s degree from UNC in Greeley, which is also where I taught in the public school system for 11 years. I had the opportunity to teach everything from physical education and middle school dance to Kindergarten, first, and second grade. My favorite grade level was always kindergarten and I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to teach little ones again now with the freedom to express my love for the Lord! When I’m not at CHC Preschool you will find me chasing around my wonderful blended family of 10. My husband and I have eight children together ranging in age from 2 to 21. My cup runneth over, Psalm 23.5.

Jennifer Bell (Two’s Class)
I love being an assistant in the 3’s class! I’ve been married for 30 years and have four grown kids and two grandkids. I’ve been teaching or assisting since my youngest kids were in school full time. I love reading, gardening, and camping. Hanging with the preschool friends keeps me young and on my toes!

Aubra McReynolds (Pre-K 4/5 Class)
This is my 7th year teaching at Chapel Hills Preschool, and my third year teaching the preschool-aged kiddos. I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, and I have a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. New Life is my church home; I love it there. I like to draw and paint when I have the time. I also like to watch and play sports; my favorites being basketball, soccer, football, and baseball. I’m a big Duke Blue Devils fan, especially when it comes to basketball! Each year I look forward to what God has in store for our class, as well as getting to know new kiddos and their families!

Jennifer Yost (Pre-K 4/5 Class)
After graduating from Hastings College in Nebraska with a BA in Secondary English Language Arts Education, I spent seven years teaching high school English here in Colorado Springs before leaving the classroom to become a stay-at-home mom. During my time with Chapel Hills Preschool, I have assisted in 2’s, 3’s and PreK classrooms. I have also been able to complete the requirements needed to receive my Early Childhood Educator Qualification. My husband Adam and I have one daughter, Rebekah.  We attend Pulpit Rock Church where I enjoy spending more time with preschoolers as the Awana Cubbies director and a Sunday morning storyteller. When we are not at school, Rebekah and I enjoy reading and baking together. The three of us together enjoy our weekly pizza & movie night, playing board games, and going out for ice cream.
